Fine screened sand for adding weight to punch bags, heavy bags and suitable free-standing bag bases. Choose the amount you need to top up an existing bag or adjust its weight for boxing, MMA, Muay Thai and other striking training.

How to use

Check your punch bag or base manufacturer’s filling instructions and maximum weight before adding sand. For a hanging punch bag, place the sand inside a strong, sealed inner bag before putting it into the punch bag. Distribute the weight evenly and combine it with other filling materials if needed for your preferred feel. Close all inner bags securely to help prevent leaks.

How much sand do I need for my punch bag?

Use the selected weight to add weight to a bag, rather than assuming it will fill the entire bag:
